This old bazaar (Hashtnagri Phatak) is more than just a place. it’s a part of my soul. I spent countless hours here, especially during those school days when I’d sneak away and wander through these streets, feeling a sense of freedom I couldn’t find elsewhere. It was my little escape, my corner of the world where life felt simple, even if only for a moment.

But this bazaar also holds the memories of a darker time. Growing up in Peshawar during an era of daily bomb blasts was not easy. This city witnessed destruction, chaos, and unimaginable loss. I still remember the fear in people’s eyes, the sound of explosions that became an almost routine part of life, and the heartbreaking sight of dead bodies. Yet, even in those moments of despair, there was something unbreakable about Peshawar.

This city taught me how to stay strong when everything seemed to be falling apart. It showed me how to find hope in the middle of devastation, how to keep moving forward when the world felt like it was standing still. The resilience of Peshawar’s people, their courage, and their ability to rebuild over and over again is something I carry with me every day.

Every corner of this bazaar reminds me of the lessons I’ve learned here the importance of faith, the strength to endure, and the beauty of a community that refuses to give up. This isn’t just a place to me; it’s a reminder of where I come from and the strength that defines me.
