Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti has announced a grant of
Rs3 crore for various developmental projects in Abbottabad district during his
first visit to the area on Wednesday.

Addressing a huge public gathering organized by the Awami National Party at
Jhangi Saidan, the Chief Minister said the process of development would continue
in the peaceful districts of the province, adding that the Pakhtun nation would
emerge successful in the war they were fighting for survival of the country.

On the occasion, renowned personality of the area Syed Shahid Raza along with
his supporters announced joining the Awami National Party and reposed full
confidence in the leadership of the ANP Central President Asfandiyar Wali Khan,
Afrasiab Khattak and Ameer Haider Khan Hoti.

The CM welcomed Syed Shahid Raza and his supporter for joining the Awami
National Party, saying their decision will strengthen the spirit of Pakhtunwali
and brotherhood among the Pakhtun nation.

Announcing different uplift schemes for the development of Hazara division, the
chief minister besides approving widening of roads, their repair and making the
sanitation system better in Abbottabad also announced shifting of the general
bus stand out of the city to a new bus stand.

He said that owing to the provincial government’s efforts, an international
level dual-way express way from Hassanabdal to Abbottabad and Mansehra was got
approved which he hoped would usher in new era of prosperity for the people of
the division.

The Chief Minister promised on the occasion to visit other areas of the Hazara
division in the near future.
