The Central and Provincial Working Committee meeting of the Awami National Party will be held on July 9 and 11, respectively.
A meeting of the party's office bearers was held in Peshawar yesterday with Provincial President Senator Afrasiab Khattak in the chair. The meeting discussed various matters pertaining to the province, situation prevailing in the country, administrative matters of the party and the performance of the provincial government.
The meeting also discussed in details the arrangements for the meetings of the party's central and provincial working committees.
Satisfaction was expressed over the performance of the provincial government and arrangements made for the Party’s meetings, during the meeting.
Speaking, on the occasion, Afraseyab Khattak said that party discipline is central to any Democratic Party and directed for close contacts between Parlimentary Party and Party’s Association in order to assure collective efforts for the solutions to the problems of the people at their door step. He said that efforts are under way for the solutions to the problems inherited by the present government from the previous government, due to their faulty policies.
Earlier, the provincial president has informed the provincial cabinet regarding the Malakand Operation, and arrangements made for the assistance of the homeless affectees, their return and rehabilitation.
The meeting were also attended by Party’ Senior Vice-President Baz Muhammad Khattak, Provincial General Secretary Taj-ud-Din. Provincial secretary Informaiton Arbab Mohammad Tahir Khan and other members of provincial cabinet of ANP.
