Manchester: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ameer Haidar Khan Hoti said
that Awami National Party emerged a political force not only on national level
but also on the international level due to brave stance against terrorism,
attainment of provincial rights and policies for development and prosperity of
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He expressed these views during a dinner offered in his honor last night at
Manchester. ANP UK arranged the dinner. Special Assistant to Chief Minister Syed
Masom Shah Bacha also addressed on the occasion. President ANP Germany Hidayat
Ullah Bangash, President ANP Sweden Masood Khan, Special Assistant to Chief
Minister Syed Masom Shah Bacha, Advisor Imran Afridi, President ANP UK Mehfooz
Jan, Deputy General Secretary PPPP UK Abrar Mir, large number of political
workers, Overseas Pakistanis and representatives business community were also
present.
 

The chief minister said all tiers of society including political parties have
rendered life and material sacrifices in war against terrorism. He said suicide
attacks were carried out on ANP Leadership and two MPAs and hundred of workers
were brutally targeted. He said ANP will not shun any sort of sacrifice in the
struggle for national survival. He paid tributes to courage, bravery and
tolerance of people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He lauded efforts of Overseas
Pakistanis in UK who extended generous donations during IDPs fiasco and
rehabilitation of flood affectees.

He said breathing nations face confronting challenges and difficulties with
unity and concord. He said government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is facing challenges
of rehabilitation of flood affectees and reconstruction of damaged infra
structure along with terrorism challenge and more and more resources are
required for this purpose, he added. The Chief Minister thanked  ANP UK
leadership for warm welcome and arrangement of dinner.

Speaking on the occasion, Special Assistant to Chief Minister Syed Masom Shah
Bacha threw light on ANP Government successes and reiterated resolve of continue
the journey of propagating thoughts and mission of Bacha Khan and Abdul Wali
Khan. He termed NFC Award, change in name of the province, attainment of net
hydel profit, 18th amendment and above all bravely facing terrorism as greater
achievement of the government.
