CM Pakhtunkhwa in a public gathering in Mardan

Mardan: Chief Minister Ameer Haidar Khan Hoti has said we need to work for survival
and safety of our country and province marginalizing our politics and ideologies
and should spoil the evil designs of enemies to the Pukhtoon.

He expressed these views while addressing huge gatherings at Khan Qala and
Hujra Lataf Gul upon his visit to Mardan. It merits a mention here that these
gatherings were held in connection with prominent industrialists Dilawar Khan,
Shad Ali Khan and Azam Khan and prominent businessmen leader Haji Lataf Gul
announcement of joining ANP. Dilawar Irfan, Haji Lataf Gul, Javed Ahmad Khel and
ANP President PF-30 Constituency Haji Faiz Shah have also addressed the
gatherings. MPAs Ghani Dad Khan, Advocate Mukhtiar Khan and Haji Ahmad Khan
Bahader and officials of ANP district and tapas officials were also present on
the occasion.

The chief minister said: “Enemies to the country, provincial development,
stability and Pakhtoons were planning to overwhelm Mardan, Sawabi, Charsadda and
Peshawar after Swat, Dir and Buneer and their designs were sabotaged by people
of malakand division who had left their belongings behind and rendered
sacrifices of their lives for the cause. ANP Leaders, workers and MPAs have also
rendered sacrifices of their lives for thwarting the heinous designs of the
enemy.”

He said we are committed for development and prosperity of the province and
efforts in this connection are underway beside elimination of terrorism. The
prime minister of Pakistan has approved Chasma Left Canal Project costing 70
billion rupees for irrigation of three lakh acres of land of southern districts
adding that work on Baizai Irrigation scheme is also in progress which help in
irrigation of 20 thousand acres land of Mardan and 5 thousand acres of land of
Malakand division. He further added that campuses of Bacha Khan Medical College,
Abdul Wali Khan University and Agriculture University have start functioning in
Mardan while work on Eastern and Western By-passes is under way. Likewise, the
chief minister said, the construction of new highways from Chakdara via Katlang
to Mardan and Sawabi has also been approved adding that reconstruction of road
from Mardan Kachehri road to Bank road, Parhoti Nehar Chowk has also been
approved.

Regarding 18 hours long load shedding in the province, the chief minister said
that it has no justification and we have clarified to the federal government not
to tolerate any indifferent attitude with the province. The chief minister
directed for preparation of special developmental package for Parhoti and
Sikandari union councils. He congratulated Dilawar Khan, Shad Ali Khan and Azam
Khan and prominent businessmen leader Haji Lataf Gul on joining ANP and said
that their amalgamation to the party will strengthen the party. He also offered
party red caps to the newly joined members of the party.

Earlier the chief minister inaugurated Heavy transformer costing six crore
rupees in Mardan Grid Station which will assist in minimizing problem of low
voltage in Mardan to a large extent. He also formally inaugurated Mustafa Abad
Kaskorona drainage and sewerage project which was completed costing eight crore
rupees. The chief minister also laid the foundation stone of project aimed at
improvement and widening of road from Rashakai to Mardan.
