ANP extends full support to the PM
|Prime Minister of Pakistan Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani is in neeting with delegation of the Awami National Party
Parliamentarians headed by Central President Asfandyar Wali Khan, which called
on him yesterday in Islamabad.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister said that all coalition parterres would be taken on board on
all major issues of national importance. He added that the policy of
reconciliation and consensus has provided immense strength to the democratic
norms in the country and major national issues have been successfully resolved.

The Prime Minister assured the delegation that besides the present
infrastructural development being initiated by the government the flood ravaged
areas of the Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa, the federal government would provide
substantial funds for the reconstruction and rehabilitation in these areas.
The Prime Minister thanked the ANP for extending their support in the passage of
19th Constitutional Amendment Bill in the National Assembly.
Asfandyar Wali Khan and other members of the delegation congratulated the Prime
Minister on the Passage of the 19th Amendment Bill. He assured the Prime
Minister of the complete support of the party for strengthening the democratic
institutions in the country.
The members of the delegation briefed the Prime Minister about the status of the
ongoing development projects in their respective areas. They also apprised the
Prime Minister about various suggestions for the improvement in these projects.
