Peshawar: Chief Minister Pakhtunkhwa Amir Haider Hoti said that the political vision and
acumen of Khan Abdul Wali Khan, Rehbar-e-Tehrik and former President of Awami
National Party has left undeniable marks not only on the politics of the country
but of the whole region.
He expressed these views while receiving Urdu translation of a book, ‘Bacha Khan
Aur Khudai Khidmatgari’ penned by Khan Abdul Wali Khan from Joint Director of
Bacha Khan Research Center and Bacha Khan Trust, Zalan Mohamand here on Sunday.
The Chief Minister termed the Urdu translation of Wali Khan’s book as national
document of Pukhtoons.

Mohmand informed the Chief Minister that almost all the books written by Khan
Abdul Wali Khan are in the process of translation into Urdu language.

research and knowledge of Wali Khan. Soon a research journal would also be
launched in this regard, he added.

the hope that students of history and politics would learn a lot from the hard
work done by the staffers of the trust. He said it is the need of the hour to
apprise new generation about the wisdom and vision of Wali Khan so that they
could be informed about the illustrious history and norms of Pukhtoon society
and make the struggle of great Puktoons as a guiding light for themselves.
