Chief Minister of Pakhtunkhwa Ameer Haider Khan Hoti has said that teachers
were the future builders while the students were the future of the nation urging
them to fulfill their respective responsibilities of teaching and learning with
honesty and conviction.

“Without education, no nation in the world could find its self among developed
nations,” the CM said during his separate meetings with delegations of Malgari
Ustazan, and Pakhtoon Students Federation at his office on Friday.

The teacher delegation was led by Hifzur Rehman and Imran was heading the
student delegation. Both the delegations apprised the Chief Minister about their
problems.

Speaking on the occasion, CM Ameer Haider Hoti said that the shortage of
teachers in the colleges of the province would be overcome soon in order to save
the precious time of the students.

He said that the provincial government had allotted more funds in its annual
developmental programme for the promotion of education and providing health
services to the masses at their doorsteps.

He said that practical measures were underway to make the education and health
departments up to the expectations of the people. He urged the students to take
advantage of the facilties being provided by the government and should focus
their concentration on their studies.

Both the delegations thanked the Chief Minister for listening to their problems
and his interest in resolving their concerns.

Meanwhile, central additional General Secretary of the Awami National Party
Hashim Babar and Peshawar district general secretary Abdur Rahim on Friday
called on the Chief Minister at his office.

Hashim Babar informed the Chief Minister about the problems being faced by the
people of his area and threw light over the requirements in health, education
and clean drinking water.
